Not Your Granny's Marbling taught by Varda Main



Come learn the ancient art of marbling updated to the 21st century! We'll float paints on a thickened solution forming a vast array of patterns (geometrics, organics, traditional swirls) and/or pictures (flowers, leaves and so much more). Then the magic occurs as we transfer this to our fabrics, papers and accessories (e.g. silk scarf blank, hats, etc.) creating one-of-a-kind items.

The supply kit provides you with everything you'll need (pre-treated fabrics and papers, tools, paints, solution, marbling tray, paint containers). You'll be able to try many different patterns and images and will go home with an array of projects. Silk scarf blanks will be available for purchase on the class day for an additional $10 if desired. If you have a white hat like in the photo and want to marble it, bring it to the class too.

Supply fee of $45 is paid directly to the teacher at the beginning of the class.

Full Refunds are given for the following reasons:
Emergency surgery.
Death of immediate family.
Positive COVID/Exposure to COVID.

Full refund if notify registrar one week prior to beginning of class. No show - no refund.

No adjustments of class fees if unable to attend one or more of a class series.

The cancellation refund, less the cancellation fee, will be sent as a check after the date of the class. Guild members also have the option of a class credit, less the cancellation fee.
