Marbling on Fabric or Paper or Both! - taught by Varda Main -- CANCELED
Come learn the ancient art of marbling. We’ll float paints on a thickened solution and then manipulate the paints into patterns. The pattern will be transferred to your fabric or paper creating a one-of-a-kind item. The patterns can be geometric, organic, complex swirls or any pattern you design. In this class you’ll learn the basics of marbling, how to do marbling at home, and you’ll get to try out many pattern making techniques. You can do your marbling on fabric, on paper or on both. Your supply kit provides everything needed for the class and you will go home with 8 - 10 beautifully marbled pieces (your choice of fabric or paper or both).  You can also choose to marble a handsewn, rolled hem silk scarf.  All fabric, paper and scarves will have been pre-treated for marbling by the instructor prior to class. Come have fun with this beautiful, ancient but timeless technique!



**Supply Fee**


The supply fee will be based on option chosen.

Option 1  $45  Fabric or paper.
Option 2  $50  Fabric and paper. 
Additional  $12  1 silk scarf


All supply fees are paid directly to the teacher. Please do not remit with your registration payment.

Cancellation Fee $5.00

Full Refunds are given for the following reasons:
Emergency surgery.
Death of immediate family.
Positive COVID/Exposure to COVID.

Full refund if notify registrar one week prior to beginning of class. No show - no refund.

No adjustments of class fees if unable to attend one or more of a class series.

The cancellation refund, less the cancellation fee, will be sent as a check after the date of the class. Guild members also have the option of a class credit, less the cancellation fee.
