About this event
This class is for individuals who have never attempted to draw a portrait as well as for more experienced artists who would like to review and add to their confidence and ability to draw faces in correct proportions. Begin with easy guidelines and transform a simple oval shape into an interesting and believable face sketch.
For the class please bring a 9 X 12 or 14 X 17 all-purpose drawing pad (no newsprint or very lightweight paper), #2B, 4B, and 6B pencils, and a kneaded or plastic eraser. Bring also a photo of a person you would like to draw preferably taken straight on.

Full Refunds are given for the following reasons:
Emergency surgery.
Death of immediate family.
Positive COVID/Exposure to COVID.
Full refund if notify registrar one week prior to beginning of class. No show - no refund.
No adjustments of class fees if unable to attend one or more of a class series.
The cancellation refund, less the cancellation fee, will be sent as a check after the date of the class. Guild members also have the option of a class credit, less the cancellation fee.
