A New Take on Pin Weaving taught by Varda Main and Rhonda Kuntz




If you are new to pin weaving or have taken this class before, A New Take on Pin Weaving is for you.

Using foam board, straight pins, a long needle and a variety of threads, yarns, ribbons, and trims, you’ll quickly create a one-of-a-kind pin weaving. You’ll learn different ways to finish the sides (straight or organic flowing) and different ways to mount and hang your piece. For those who’ve taken pin weaving before, you’ll explore how to add open spaces within your piece, how to do color/texture changes within rows, how to add beads and other surface embellishments, and how to use found objects to mount your piece.

You’ll go home with a finished piece ready to be hung on the wall, or ready to be finished as a pillow cover, coaster, placemat or table runner. This is so much fun and so easy, that you’ll find yourself wanting to make many pin weavings.

The supply kit will include all needed materials and tools to make your pin weaving.

Death of immediate family.
Positive COVID/Exposure to COVID.

Full refund if notify registrar one week prior to beginning of class. No show - no refund.

No adjustments of class fees if unable to attend one or more of a class series.

The cancellation refund, less the cancellation fee, will be sent as a check after the date of the class. Guild members also have the option of a class credit, less the cancellation fee.
