Full Refunds are given for the following reasons:
Special circumstances: Emergency surgery Death of immediate family Full refund if notify registrar one week prior to beginning of class. No show – no refund.
No adjustments of class fees if unable to attend one or more of a class series.
2022 Summer Classes
Pastel Mentoring Sessions

Third Tuesdays 1-5pm (Beginning May 17, 2022)
Facilitator: Delys Nast
Pastel Art Mentoring Sessions will take the exploration of using pastels in art further and give you more detail and experience with pastels.
The monthly workshop will have a planned project, critique session and discussion for future workshop content.
The first workshop will deal with pet portraits. Bring a photo that will fit within an 8.5 x 11” frame. If you do not have a pet photo to work with, Delys will provide one. Some materials will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own paper and pastels and tools.
Sessions are the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1-5 p.m.(no session August)
Cost: $10 for Members $20 for Non-Members. Please pay Delys when you arrive for the Mentoring Session, checks made payable to Delys Nast.

Watercolor Skies

Thursday June 16 1-4pm
Instructor: Karen Brungardt
This class will teach you various ways of painting a sky in watercolor, from simplicity to complex. Come prepared to try your hand at several different approaches to painting the sky!
Cost: $35 for Members $45 for Non-Members Plus $10 if using instructor’s supplies
Discover the Digital Art World

Thursday July 7, 2022 9-3pm
Instructor: Janet Frost
Learn the basics of the new art form of Digital Art. The class will look at the different platforms available to create and display Digital Art. Finally, we will have time for hands-on practice with Adobe Fresco ( a free digital art app).
Cost: $75 for Members and $85 for Non-Members

Watercolor Poppies

Thursday July 21 1-4pm
Instructor: Karen Brungardt
Who doesn’t love a red poppy? We’ll paint red poppies in a loose painting style and use some interesting tools to complete the painting in this fun class!
Cost: $35 for Members $45 for Non-Members Plus $10 if using instructor’s supplies
Collage

Tuesday August 16 9-3pm
Instructor: Deb Kress
Collage is a French word meaning “to glue”.We will be making our own papers and learning about the methods and products used to adhere them to paper. Make it your own with a daily paper or magazine, parts of a photograph, newspaper clippings, and words.
Cost: $75 for Members $85 for Non-Members plus $20 Supply Fee
Hummingbird in Alcohol Ink

Thursday August 25 1-4pm
Instructor: Karen Brungardt
Alcohol inks are quite vibrant and fun to use, if a bit messy but you can’t drink them. You can, however, make a very colorful painting with them! I’ll teach you how to paint a hummingbird on special paper using these colorful and exciting inks!
Cost: $35 for Members $45 for Non-Members Addtional $6 Supply Fee
